The R1 Plaza, a 2,520 m² mixed-use development located in Konak, İzmir, redefines urban living by seamlessly integrating contemporary aesthetics with purposeful design. Born from the need for safe and contemporary living and workspaces, the project consists of a five-story residential block and a ten-story office building, thoughtfully separated by a shared courtyard that fosters community interaction. The architectural form is characterized by clean lines and refined geometric patterns, creating a facade that is both modern and timeless. The interplay of light and shadow, achieved through the dynamic use of louvers and glass, adds depth and elegance to the exterior while enhancing privacy and natural ventilation. The ground-level commercial spaces activate the street, promoting vibrancy and engagement with the urban fabric.
